20X20X1.75" acrylic painting on deep profile cradled birchwood panel

This original painting was created using professional archival artist materials only. It is unframed. The edges and backs of its cradle boards are neatly painted black for a professional finish. It is wired and ready to hang. Due to differences in device screens, colour of art may vary from what you see on your screen.

Someone spread sunflower seeds over a vacant lot in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Hundreds of sunflowers grew from the random act of kindness. People took photos; grad, wedding, and others! I couldn't resist taking my own. This is one in a series of 3 paintings inspired by the 98th Street sunflowers. I later learned the random guerilla gardener was my son's high-school friend!

HISTORY/AWARDS: Juried into Federation of Canadian Artists exhibition "Peace Squared" at the Centre for Creative Arts in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada.
