Matted 11X7.5" original linocut print. Matted size is 19.5X16.25"

This original hand pulled print has deckle edges and is floated in a shadow box warm white mat. It is not framed. It was created using professional archival artist materials only.

My friend gave me a cat photo from her honeymoon in Switzerland. It inspired me to have great fun creating this lovely print. The white ink on black paper has been very popular and this is the only one left. I hope you love it!

HISTORY: This print was recognized for "outstanding artistic excellence" at Federation of Canadian Artists exhibition, "Permission to Dance," Centre for Creative Arts, Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada.

Here's how I create a linocut print:

1. I draw a design and carve it into a lino plate
2. I ink up a brayer and roll the ink onto the plate
3. I centre art paper over the inked plate
4. I run it through a printmaking press
5. I pull off the paper and, voila! A lino cut print appears!
