11X8" linocut print in a limited edition of 18 on 250gsm Stonehenge paper

This original hand pulled linocut print was created using professional archival artist materials only. Due to the hand printing process, each print is slightly different and unique. It is unframed.

I love the vibrant and active White Breasted Nuthatches that visit my backyard oasis. I am lifelong bird crazy! It was a joy creating this fun expressive print! I hope a fellow bird lover loves it as much as I loved creating it.

HISTORY: A print from this edition was juried into Federation of Canadian Artists exhibition, "Dimensions of Reality" and recognized for "outstanding artistic excellence" at Peace Gallery North, Fort St John BC Canada

This is a great way to turn favourite drawings into original prints! Here’s how I create a single colour linocut print:

1. I draw a design and carve it into a linoplate
2. I ink up a brayer and roll the ink onto the plate
3. I centre art paper over the inked plate
4. I run it through a printmaking press
5. I pull off the paper and, voila! A print appears!
